Component Machining

Precision Components for Vacuum & Fluid-Handling Systems

Vacuum and fluid-handling systems are only as good as their seals and surfaces. Chamber faces, flanges and sealing lands have to be flat, clean and dimensionally right, or the system leaks or contaminates. Tai Phat Precision machines the stainless and aluminium components these systems are built from, with the finish and tolerance control sealing surfaces require.

Part Families

What We Machine

  • Chamber components & bodies — machined and finished for flatness and sealing.
  • Flanges & sealing faces — flat, fine-finished faces (surface-ground where specified) for reliable gasket and O-ring sealing.
  • Ports, fittings & manifolds — precise geometry for clean fluid paths.
  • Sealing-groove parts — O-ring grooves cut to the right finish and dimension.
How We Handle Them

Why These Parts Are Demanding

  • Sealing-face finish & flatness — a scratch across a sealing land leaks; we hold the specified Ra and flatness, surface-grinding faces when the drawing calls for it.
  • Material choice — corrosion and cleanliness behaviour depend on grade; where 304 or 316/316L meets the requirement we recommend it — easier to source locally, shorter lead time.
  • Burr-free, clean geometry — ports and internal passages are deburred so nothing sheds into the fluid path.
Materials

Materials We Machine

Stainless steel (304, 316/316L primarily) · aluminium (6061-T6) · brass where suitable. Machining after heat treatment available; specialist finishing coordinated.

Quality

Quality Control

Flatness and dimensional inspection on sealing faces, surface-roughness measurement, first-article and critical features on the in-house CMM.
