About Tai Phat Precision

A Precision Machining Partner You Can Build On

Founded in 2007, Tai Phat Precision is a Hanoi precision machining company focused on CNC-turned and milled components and the design and fabrication of manufacturing jigs and fixtures.

We serve electronics manufacturers and industrial customers in Vietnam and abroad, and we act as a dependable production partner for trading companies and OEMs that need flexible, high-mix machining.

Turning, milling, precision grinding, wire EDM, laser cutting, TIG/laser welding, marking and fixture design now run under one roof — fewer hand-offs, shorter lead times, quality controlled by us.

What We Can Hold

Parameter Standard On request
Linear tolerance ±0.01 mm ±0.005 mm
Surface finish Ra 1.6 via in-house precision grinding
Turning diameter up to ~Ø300 mm —
Milling envelope varies by machine — largest single envelope is 1,000 × 600 × 600 mm (Hision VMC1000II); longest part length is 1,050 mm (Okuma MB-56VA). Full per-machine table below. —
Milling axes 3-axis and 4-axis (no 5-axis)
Batch size 1 piece to production runs —

We quote single pieces and prototypes. Setup and programming weigh more heavily on a one-off than on a repeat run, and the quote will show that honestly.

Why Buyers Choose Us

The Problems We Actually Solve

“The tolerance drifts after the first batch.”

The buyer’s problem: “The first samples were perfect. Then batch three came back out of tolerance and I only found out when my own line stopped.”

What we do: First-article inspection on every new setup. In-process checks by the operator on critical dimensions. Outgoing inspection against the drawing before anything is packed — measured on an Accretech CVA800A CMM, a Mitutoyo Quick Vision Apex, and an Accretech SUR1500 surface tester that live in our own building.

You get: part 100 that matches part 1, and measurement data we can send you when a dimension is questioned.

“Nobody wants my small, awkward, mixed order.”

The buyer’s problem: “Big shops want 10,000 identical pieces. I have 40 part numbers, 30 pieces each, three materials, and a delivery date.”

What we do: High-mix work is our normal week, not an exception. 10 turning centres and 11 milling centres let us split a mixed order across machines instead of queuing it behind one long run. Multiple identical lathes cover the small repetitive parts; chuck and milling work covers the rest.

You get: one supplier for the whole basket instead of four.

“The drawing is fine but the part is hard to hold.”

The buyer’s problem: “The quote came back high, or the vendor just said ‘cannot make’. Nobody told me which feature was the problem.”

What we do: We review your drawing before quoting and tell you which tolerance, feature or datum is driving the cost. When a part needs a dedicated jig or fixture to be made repeatably, we design it in Siemens NX and machine it ourselves.

You get: a cheaper part, or at least an honest explanation of why it costs what it costs.

How We Work

From Drawing to Delivered Part

Drawing & Spec Review

We read your technical drawings and confirm tolerances, materials and requirements. If something will be expensive or hard to hold, you hear it now, not after the first article.

Quotation

A clear quote, typically within 48–72 hours.

Production Planning

We choose the route: in-house CNC turning or milling, plus coordinated partner processes for finishing where needed.

Machining & Quality Control

Precision machining with first-article, in-process and outgoing inspection.

Delivery

Packed, marked and tracked through to on-time delivery.

19 Years Since 2007

FAQ

Common Questions

What's your minimum order quantity?

There is no fixed minimum. We machine single pieces and prototypes as well as repeat production runs. For very small quantities, setup time dominates the price — so one piece is not one-tenth the price of ten.

How fast can I get a quote?

Typically 48–72 hours from receiving a complete drawing package. Complex assemblies or parts needing outsourced processes can take longer, and we'll tell you if so.

What tolerances can you actually hold?

±0.01 mm as standard, ±0.005 mm on request where the feature and material allow. Surface finish is Ra 1.6 as-machined, down to Ra 0.4 through our in-house precision grinding on suitable features — straight round parts up to Ø40 mm, or flat faces. Send the drawing and we'll confirm feature by feature.

Do you supply inspection reports?

Yes, on request. Tell us at order stage which features you want measured and we'll agree the report format before we start.

Can you ship to Europe?

Yes — we already supply customers in the Netherlands and Germany. We work with your forwarder or arrange shipping, and we supply the commercial documentation needed for export.
